Right after peaking around some other beauty bloggers web page I bump into another great TAG, the actual 40 question LABEL. Ever since starting my blog, I believed that doing a tag blogging is one of the things I enjoy doing the most (feeling guilty to admit). Some of the tag questions let me dig deep into my passion, and allow you to get to know me a little more. ‘The 40 Beauty Questions Tag focuses on how I take care of my skin, and how I used my makeup. Let BEGIN:
– The number of times do you clean your face daily?
2 to 3 times depending on the work schedule. I was my face after I wake up, and before I go to bed. I also washed my face right after I come home from work to rinse off my makeup (only do this step if I come home from work before 8 p.m.)
– What skin type do you have? (Dry, oily, or combo)
I have super dry skin.
– What is your current facial wash?
I used Cetaphil Gentle Facial Cleanser for All Skin Types most of the time. I find that this cleanser is one of the best choices for my sensitive skin. It doesn’t make me break out or leave my skin feeling dry and tight. It works wonders with my Clarisonic!
Of course, as much love as I have for my Cetaphil, I also have relationships with other cleansers too. I used L’OCCITANE Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam twice a week during my morning skin care routine. This cleanser is a gentle cleanser that transforms into a rich foam for clean, refreshed skin. With the unique formula enriched with refreshing immortelle floral water and citrus fruit peel to brighten my complexion, and my skin felt extremely smooth.
– Do you exfoliate?
YES ‘ in fact, I am the QUEEN BEE when it comes to exfoliating. I feel guilty when sharing with other how often I exfoliate a week! I have super DRY skin, so even though my skin is delicate I have to exfoliate.
– What brand do you use?
I used Boscia Konjac sponge every morning, and a Clarisonic every night. On top of that ‘ I used the Face Shop Papaya Enzyme Exfoliator (to scrub off my dead skin), or Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Pad (to unclog my pore) once a week. I alternate the product so it wouldn’t be too much for my skin to handle.
– What moisturizer do you use?
I haven’t truly found a moisturizer that I cannot live without. In fact, I am still in search of a good moisturizer. I switch my moisturizer almost every week or two because it seems like everything is causing a reaction to my face after a while. As for right now, I am using PETER THOMAS ROTH Camu Camu Power C X 30 Vitamin C Brightening Moisturizer. This particular moisturizer is a seriously nourishing moisturizer which supports natural collagen while brightening, smoothing, firming, revitalizing, as well as improving the appearance of unequal skin tone. Its rich, creamy texture is perfect for this cold brutal winter, which is the only thing that actually hydrates my skin. I used it both for morning and night.
– Do you have freckles?
– Do you use an eye cream?
Yes, during the morning I used Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream. This eye cream has the ability to prevent fine lines and wrinkle, crease firming and lifting, and correct dark circle and puffiness. The eye cream has a pearl luminous, which create an instant brightening effect. At night, I like to use CLINIQUE Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle Correcting Eye Cream or ALGENIST Complete Eye Renewal Balm. Both of this eye cream comes with a creamy texture, proving the most hydration around the eye area. The purpose of these eye creams is to reverse fine lines and wrinkle and increase firmness and lifting. ALGENIST Complete Eye Renewal Balm can also correct puffiness and dark circle.
– Would you or did you might have acne-prone pores and skin?
I have to thank mother and father for their good genetics. I have barely experienced acne-prone skin ever since I was young. However, I do get occasional minor breakouts from lack of sleep or when using the wrong products.
– Did you ever have to use Pro-active?
NO, and I am thankful for that!

Beautiful makeup requires beautiful skin. I think a proper skincare routine is a must. I prefer to spend my money right in the first place by buying high ‘ end skincare products, then trying to fix my skin as I get older.
– What foundation do you use?
Because of my sensitive skin, I can barely use any foundation. I do use BB or CC cream most of the time. I own more than 12 different brands of BB or CC cream, and I am still in the search for more. A couple of foundations I kept on hand for special occasions include Estee Lauder Double Wear Light, YSL TEINT TOUCHE ‘CLAT Illuminating, and Illamasqua Skin Base.
-How about concealer?
Not a huge fan of concealer either because it always appears super cakey on my face. To cover my dark circle I use products like Ole Henriksen CC Eye Cream, and Anti Dark Circle Eye Roller. Both of these products provide a sheer coverage and some hydration.
-Do you know your undertone color?
Yes, I have yellow undertones. I actually tested Sephora Color IQ to find my perfect shade of foundation.

I love falsie, but never put the time and effort to apply them to myself. When I do wear fake eyelashes, I only wear lashes that are natural-looking because my I have the Asian eyes, so dramatic lashes make my eye look extra small.

Yes, I don’t wear a lot of mascara because I have to wear my glasses most of the time.
– What brand of mascara do you use?
I am currently using Too Faced, YSL, and Maybelline.
– Sephora or MAC?
I used to be a MAC junkie, not anymore ever since one of their foundations broke me out for more than six months. I purchase most of my products at Sephora now because it has many different brands. I also prefer the shopping experience at Sephora more than MAC. I don’t need a lot of help from a sales associate to obtain the products because everything is displayed in front of me. Unlike MAC everything is hidden in the drawer.
– Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
Absolutely not, I am not an expert makeup artist. We are just a girl who else loves to play with make-up and skincare.
– Exactly what makeup tools would you use in makeup software?
I used tooth brushes most of the time. To apply the foundation I prefer to some beauty blender, and also to apply my BB or CC lotion I prefer to use the face area Shop It Intelligent Vibration machine.
Yes, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Anti ‘ Aging

– What is their favorite eye darkness (color or shade)?
I love Urban Decay shadows, especially Virgin from the Naked palette.
– Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
I use liquid, gel, and pencil eyeliner. I have Asian eyes, so liquid eyeliner is always my best choice. It doesn’t smudge all over my lids. I used gel or pencil eyeliners to draw my inner rims.
– When do you poke your own eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
NEVER at least not yet!
– What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I don’t use or own a lot of pigment eye shadow to know how I truly think of it. I like how dramatic it can make my eyes look, but spending time cleaning up the falls out can be a hassle.
– Do you use mineral makeup?
No, mineral makeup tends to break my out.
– What is your favorite lipstick?
Don’t really have one because I am not a huge fan of lip products (Ha-ha!!! I just realize as a makeup blogger, there is a lot of things I am not a huge fan of ** SHAME**)

My favorite blush is an Illamasqua powder blush in the shade Lover.
– Do you buy your makeup on eBay?
Not really ‘ the only thing I ever purchased from eBay was FLIRT! Cosmetics 40 Eyeshadow Eye Shadow Palette when I first started my blog. Even though I haven’t purchased anything else for years, but I don’t mind purchasing makeup brushes on eBay.
– Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yes, but I barely buy them. Even though I believe that some of them have the quality as well as the high ‘ end brands, but because of my sensitive skin I need to be able to swatch them on my hands before buying. Most drugstore makeup is fully wrapped, it is impossible for me to know how my skin reacts to it.
– Do you go to CCO’s? (Cosmetic company outlets)
No ‘ I don’t have one around my area.
– Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Yes, I actually pay over a thousand of dollars for the makeup class online. That class turns out to be a waste of money. It doesn’t even teach me anything so I gave up after a week. I would love to learn more about makeup because I think my makeup skills is terrible.

Yes, like I said my makeup skills are not a wonderful as I wish it could be.

A BB cream because it provides hydration, sun protection, and it makes my face look flawless.

– Do you consider you look good without even any makeup upon?
I am pleased with how I look without any makeup.
– In your viewpoint, what is the GREATEST makeup collection?
I think every makeup line has its specialty. I don’t like to be biased to any brands.
-What do you think of Makeup?
Makeup should not be used to hide or change someone face. Instead, it should only be used to enhance people feature. Makeup is to use for boosting confidence and happiness; it is not a mask to help hide myself.
I prefer to wear a natural look over dramatic look most of the time. Dramatic makeup should only be used every now and then to create a stunning breath taken moments.
