Keep eye drops handy. These are great for getting rid of all these irritating red tears of joy you have already paid. Be sure to use a registered your eyes are familiar with. You do not want to use a different brand and end up walking down the aisle with eye irritation.
Rest as much as possible. We know it will be difficult to sleep this week before the wedding, but try to relax. This will keep your eyes tired form on the wedding day. If you do end up having dark circles do not worry, just apply some concealer to hide.
Use matte eyeshadow. This type of shadow will not reflect light, are your eyes will not be too bright images. Use a matte white eyeshadow broken along the top of your forehead to brighten your eyes. Doing that will give you a glow factor, but be sure to mix in well.
Ask defined eyebrows. Ask your makeup artist to use an eyebrow pencil that closely matches your hair color. Then have added at least two coats of mascara waterproof.
Absolutely not to do:
Exaggerated eye makeup. You do not want to look like your about to head to a costume party. Be sure to have some tricks of makeup tests done to get the desired amount of coverage for your wedding day.
Use colored contacts. Unless you wear them every day. If not stay away, they may seem like a good idea now, but in ten years you may think differently.
Too cute or fashion. An idea may sound good to you now, but as colored contacts, they may seem foolish later on the road.
Use a concealer under your eyes too light. Make sure your makeup artist matches your skin well. If it’s too light, it can give the effect of a deer caught in the headlights.
Use dark eye shadow such as coal, brown or black. Married several times trying to get the effect of the eyes “Smokey” but end up looking like they were punctured. Let the smokey eyes for the club, go for something that is more feminine and marriage.
Wear eye shadows that are shiny, matte and shine. These types of shades can reflect light flashes.
Absolutely not tweeze your eyebrows the wedding day. Make sure you do at least a few days in advance so you will walk down the aisle with red eyebrows.
Wear false eyelashes. Unless you are 100% sure they are comfortable and will not fall off.
Remember if you get and like them, they will tear up a lot of your eye makeup when you remove them.
