I would say most times I use very soapy and foamy face washes. And when I actually think about it, with constant use it’s probably not really good for my skin. Thus, this time around I was looking for something that was not at all harsh. The Body Shop Vitamin-E Gentle Facial Wash met the requirements well. Both gentle and natural, what else could I ask for? And yes there was, a bonus of rinsing makeup off. So happily I took this home. And now with a few uses, I’d like to share my thoughts on it with you.

What I Think About The Body Shop Vitamin-E Gentle Facial Wash
The packaging is a squeezable tube and is soft baby pink in color. The flip cap took me off-guard for a bit since it is transparent. And because of this I initially thought it was a screw-top mechanism 😛 . This flip cap has a comfortable groove which allows me to open it without any struggle. Yet can also close securely and thus would travel fine.
The Body Shop Vitamin-E Gentle Facial Wash Review
All my previous face washes have had some sort of fruity or floral scent and this one was a totally different step in another direction. Some may say it is artificial but for me, this scent smelt something like a beauty product base or even plant type scent. On the whole, it gives an impression of a natural product.
On prodding the face wash in hand, it’s creamy and even a little gooey. The gooeyness is kind of like that of aloe vera. I can’t seem to get this who natural thing out of my head 😛 . And when massaged into the skin it has very little foam.
The sensation is very gentle indeed. I have normal-to-combination skin. And this did make my face feel clean but not squeaky clean. So I like using this in winters often as it doesn’t seem to take away so much moisture. And in summers only when my face is not as yucky from the heat and pollution as it can seem as it seems a little gentle too gentle most times.
I was happy to get this since it claimed on the front label that it rinses away make-up. But on taking it home and reading it closely the back label says you shouldn’t get this in your eyes. This was a letdown as I wear eyeshadows, eyeliner, and mascara and I like using a face wash to get the last remaining makeup residue I had missed with my makeup remover.
