On average, about 78 percent of people who have acne have been able to get rid of it. The downside is that it comes back- stronger than ever before. The road of acne is often a long and tiresome one. However there are a few ways of getting rid of your acne for good. Here are a few tips to help ease your trip to an acne free face.
Popping those Pimples
You know the drill- you see a pimple and immediately want to get rid of it. Place the tips of your fingertips against the offending spot on your face and push. Oftentimes, a gush of mucus, pus, and who knows what spews out of the new opening in your pore. What most people do not realize is that popping your pimples, zits, or black heads can be dangerous and unhealthy.
When you pop a pimple and the liquid inside of it comes out like a volcano, the infected bacteria will often spread onto your skin. Also, if you are pushing or pinching the pimple, you will get some gunk out, but the rest will sink deeper into your pore. This creates bigger infection and can create yet another pimple.
If you feel you absolutely must pop that zit or you will die of embarrassment, Dr. Oz from the Fox network has some advice for you. Take a sanitized needle (you can sanitize a needle by putting hydrogen peroxide on it or putting it under a flame) and gently push it into your pimple. Using a cotton ball, gather the bacteria that comes out of the pimple and throw it away. Clean the newly splurged pore to decrease your chances of it getting worse.
A Healthy Diet
Having a healthy diet is more important than you may think. If you are constantly pounding down those French fries and chocolate shakes, it is not surprising that your skin has problems. What you put in your body matters. Try eating veggies and Zinc to help promote a healthier body and face.
Finding home remedies that can get rid of your acne fast is one of the most effective ways of those pimples fast. When you have a wedding to go to tomorrow or are trying to impress a date, knowing a quick fix to your acne can become invaluable.
The salt method is used with several things- water, three cotton balls, and salt.
Step 1- Place salt and water in the same container to mix them together.
Step 2- Take 1 cotton ball and soak it in the mixture.
Step 3- Gently wring the soaked cotton ball and place it on the offending blemish for several minutes.
Step 4- After the pimple is effectively soaked, take two more wet cotton balls and place them on either side of the pimple.
Step 5- Very carefully, push those cotton balls together to squeeze out the bacteria.
Overall, getting rid of your pimples is just another part of life.
